Hymn
O God, Creator of our Island Mountains O Jesus seeking green hillside to pray O Spirit strength to pilgrim
climbing heavenward Blest Trinity, we hymn Thee day by day.
Here in our hillside school we feel thy presence In
starlight, dawn and sunset Thou art near, Oh may Thy earthly glory lead us onward Our shining eyes lit up by vision
clear.
We care not for the lure of worldly pleasures, We shall go forth as pilgrims sandal shod the City which
hath true foundation claim us Whose builder and whose maker is our God.
And while within these walls we live as
schoolgirls With days set free to learn and test out powers, Oh guard within our souls the Heaven vision While to
our pilgrim's lore we give these hours.
And as we dare and do in brave endeavour And 'res severa verum gaudium'
sing Oh may we urged by sacrifice and service Our noblest to the great adventure bring.
And when the call comes
to fare forth as pilgrims We'll take the road to serve and sing Thy praise, With minds alert and hearts attuned to struggle, Through
lessons learned of Thee in girlhood days
